Oxel Rico started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sabarneda SD's Pedro Maestro got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Oxel Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabarneda SD's Carlitos Labarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Sabarneda SD's Geofredo Paz threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eleuterio De Pedro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Fnatic's Oxel Rico in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabarneda SD's goalie prevented a goal. If Amador Benito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Oxel Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlitos Labarra. Sabarneda SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oxel Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Sabarneda SD booed when Fnatic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chano Bouzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Pedro Maestro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabarneda SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Maestro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amador Benito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes, Fnatic's Saul Ruiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlitos Labarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fnatic reached it. A collision led to Sabarneda SD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Heriberto Ortiz hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Maestro to make the kick off. Sabarneda SD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Feijo Parra scored to the left of an out of position Carlitos Labarra, making the score, 0-2. Oxel Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlitos Labarra having to interfere. If Oxel Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Saul Ruiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joan Tarin fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabarneda SD's protests and gave Joan Tarin a yellow card for diving instead. Chano Bouzon didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Oxel Rico in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlitos Labarra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cefero Ramiréz's late challenge caught a Fnatic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cefero Ramiréz helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 98 minutes, Oxel Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fnatic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oxel Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sabarneda SD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fnatic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
