Amador Benito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelipe Vadillos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oxel Rico's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Oxel Rico came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Fnatic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oxel Rico couldn't finish the play. Boni Carreira charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boni Carreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Fnatic got a freekick which was hit by Boni Carreira. Amador Benito took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zelipe Vadillos. Zelipe Vadillos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 40th minute, Oxel Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Oxel Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but All Blacks's Zelipe Vadillos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to All Blacks getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rafael Merino hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Merino was the one to do the kick off. In the 76th minute, Chano Bouzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Fnatic's Oxel Rico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zelipe Vadillos. That made the score 0-4 after 79 minutes of play. The supporters of Fnatic booed when All Blacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yvon Tobia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in All Blacks's zone, Feijo Parra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zelipe Vadillos came out of the goal and Feijo Parra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boni Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oxel Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Fnatic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than All Blacks throughout the match.
