Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Marino de Luanco's Teodor Fernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lonzo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Elian Coya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lonzo Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elian Coya was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Macario Aguado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Balompedica Linense's supporters rose to their feet, but Macario Aguado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elian Coya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elian Coya came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Balompedica Linense's Tomi Murcia. But to his dismay, Tomi Murcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lonzo Toledo sped through Marino de Luanco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elian Coya. In the 18thth minute of the game Lonzo Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marino de Luanco's Elian Coya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Lonzo Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elian Coya was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Bartolomé Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bartolomé Lastras came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Marino de Luanco's Teodor Fernandez. But to his dismay, Teodor Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tomi Murcia took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elian Coya. Elian Coya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Lonzo Toledo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Elian Coya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Balompedica Linense. After the first half Real Balompedica Linense were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lonzo Toledo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elian Coya saved Marino de Luanco from getting behind. Cebo Cabada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Marino de Luanco defense, Lonzo Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elian Coya. The Marino de Luanco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elian Coya should have stopped the shot. Tomi Murcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elian Coya having to interfere. After 65th play minutes Lonzo Toledo shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Elian Coya and just under the crossbar into goal. Macario Aguado's late challenge caught a Marino de Luanco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Macario Aguado helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Real Balompedica Linense got a freekick which was hit by Macario Aguado. If Lonzo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Balompedica Linense booed when Marino de Luanco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Quesada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marino de Luanco's Elian Coya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Marino de Luanco from getting a goal against them. Lonzo Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elian Coya having to make a save. Lonzo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cebo Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Balompedica Linense played a much better game than Marino de Luanco and deserved their victory. The Marino de Luanco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
