Iurie Şimocs short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Gaizko Balboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delfino Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iurie Şimoc sped through RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaizko Balboa. Ciro Goyanes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Kelemen Arratia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaizko Balboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfino Abad in the 16th minute of play forced RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's goalkeeper Gaizko Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iurie Şimoc came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the San Miguel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Şimoc couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Şimoc got free with Gaizko Balboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bahiano Urbieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahiano Urbieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Baltanas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, San Miguel's Iurie Şimoc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaizko Balboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Iurie Şimoc had several of the RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Gaizko Balboa as he didn't even see the shot coming. San Miguel's Iurie Şimoc got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iurie Şimoc's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaizko Balboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Şimoc to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Delfino Abad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaizko Balboa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Delfino Abad sped through RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaizko Balboa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfino Abad in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizko Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72ndth minute of the game Delfino Abad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RECREATIVO BALOMPIÉ's Gaizko Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaizko Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Şimoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Iurie Şimoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delfino Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizko Balboa having to interfere. Iurie Şimoc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Iurie Şimoc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gaizko Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iurie Şimoc struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gaizko Balboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Miguel. After 96 played minutes San Miguel got a freekick which was hit by Delfino Abad. Gaizko Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Şimoc in the 99th minute of the match.
