Eguzki Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Uria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eguzki Canal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Uria in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Nicolao Griego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolao Griego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vinalesa's zone, Fresco Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Nadal came out of the goal and Fresco Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinalesa's Claudio Nadal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolao Griego in the 34th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Vinalesa's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolao Griego came free, but Claudio Nadal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eguzki Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melkor Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Uria in the 43rd minute of play forced Arbo's goalkeeper Eguzki Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolao Griego to make the kick off. Federico Puig hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Rai Cuadrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinalesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rai Cuadrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Arbo's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Uria came free, but Eguzki Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melkor Balboa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Eguzki Canal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinalesa. Eguzki Canal made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Melkor Balboa sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Mendez charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Mendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, one of Vinalesa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vinalesa. Clemente Urquijo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nicolao Griego took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Nadal. Claudio Nadal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Claudio Nadal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fresco Navarro in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Arbo got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Vives. When Arbo's Nicolao Griego in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinalesa's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Eguzki Canal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melkor Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vinalesa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arbo.
