Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) When Montay Valdivia came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the As Caldas AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Montay Valdivia couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ursino Alfaro in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Vallejo saved As Caldas AD from getting behind. Puente Genil CF's Estefan Balcells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montay Valdivia in the 9th minute of play. Emilio Nueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Nueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ursino Alfaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tadeo Vallejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Puente Genil CF's Estefan Balcells got control of the ball when Emilio Nueva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Graciano Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puente Genil CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave As Caldas AD the free kick. Licerio Sans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tadeo Vallejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Ursino Alfaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Vallejo. As Caldas AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ursino Alfaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Ursino Alfaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Vallejo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Estefan Balcells didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Nueva went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Tadeo Vallejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ursino Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Licerio Sans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Vallejo. As Caldas AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Licerio Sans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Licerio Sans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Edilberto Uria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puente Genil CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave As Caldas AD the free kick. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puente Genil CF! As Caldas AD's Tadeo Vallejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Licerio Sans in the 58th minute of play. When Nicolás Galnares fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored As Caldas AD's protests and gave Nicolás Galnares a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolás Galnares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nicolás Galnares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edilberto Uria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Vallejo. As Caldas AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. As Caldas AD's Tadeo Vallejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Licerio Sans in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Puente Genil CF's zone, Montay Valdivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estefan Balcells came out of the goal and Montay Valdivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Licerio Sans fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ursino Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Vallejo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Licerio Sans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente Genil CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Licerio Sans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Vallejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ursino Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puente Genil CF's Licerio Sans got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Nicolás Galnares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Licerio Sans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estefan Balcells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Montay Valdivia, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Licerio Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. As Caldas AD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Puente Genil CF had controlled the match.
