Burgueira SAD's Pastor Soler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Licerio Sans in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Pujol in the 28th minute of play forced Puente Genil CF's goalkeeper Estefan Balcells to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Burgueira SAD's Gerard Pujol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estefan Balcells was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ponce Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 48 minutes into the match, Puente Genil CF's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Pujol came free, but Estefan Balcells reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Puente Genil CF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Seve Gasso hit a great ball. Burgueira SAD's Pastor Soler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Licerio Sans in the 77th minute of play. When Licerio Sans came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Puente Genil CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Licerio Sans couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burgueira SAD's goalkeeper Pastor Soler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Licerio Sans in the 88th minute of play forced Burgueira SAD's goalkeeper Pastor Soler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Pujol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Estefan Balcells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burgueira SAD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
