Unai Grau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Tanger City F.C.'s Boris Chekan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lolo Domenech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Chekan in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lolo Domenech saved SAMPDORIA from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Tanger City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Unai Grau came free, but Angel Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloisio Crespo in the 13th minute of the match. If Eusebio Bodelon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Chekan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lolo Domenech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feijo Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes SAMPDORIA got a freekick which was hit by Feijo Navarro. Eusebio Bodelon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Chekan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Domenech having to interfere. Lolo Domenech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Parra in the 29th minute of the match. Lolo Domenech came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Tanger City F.C.'s Boris Chekan. But to his dismay, Boris Chekan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Eusebio Bodelon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Chekan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Lolo Domenech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Unai Grau to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Boris Chekan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lolo Domenech was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. A collision led to SAMPDORIA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Medardo Abellan hit a great ball. Unai Grau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Ribeiro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boris Chekan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lolo Domenech saved SAMPDORIA from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloisio Crespo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71stth minute of the game Boris Chekan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAMPDORIA's Lolo Domenech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lolo Domenech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odon Silva in the 75th minute of the match. Lolo Domenech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Chekan went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Tanger City F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eusebio Bodelon hit a great ball. Boris Chekan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lolo Domenech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergi Alabern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match Medardo Abellan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SAMPDORIA booed when Tanger City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanger City F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
