Paulino Viqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ibar Roca went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nesor Pujol got free with Manu Clos in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Candenaxo's Ibar Roca in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queens Park Rangers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute, Costante Losantos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Viqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Manu Clos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Candenaxo's Manu Clos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Canyelles in the 27th minute of play. Ibar Roca might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Viqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ibar Roca ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Costante Losantos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candenaxo's supporters rose to their feet, but Costante Losantos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Viqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asdrubal Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Ibar Roca notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Queens Park Rangers's Paulino Viqueira. Paulino Viqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ibar Roca in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Viqueira saved Queens Park Rangers from getting behind. Paulino Viqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibar Roca, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Candenaxo's Ibar Roca made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Viqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibar Roca to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Josep Obis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nesor Pujol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nesor Pujol struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Manu Clos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queens Park Rangers. In the 64th minute, Josep Obis made a precise shot to the right of Manu Clos. Candenaxo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Queens Park Rangers's Paulino Viqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibar Roca in the 67th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Ibar Roca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queens Park Rangers's Paulino Viqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Josep Obis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manu Clos. Candenaxo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josep Obis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 83rd match minute, Queens Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bautista Dean to maneuver through the defense.
