Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ildefonso Delgado kicked off to start the match. Cirino Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, CD Arona's Pastor Quevedo tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Alatz Nueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Mas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Ildefonso Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dante Mas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heriberto Checa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Mas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heriberto Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Mas having to interfere. Dante Mas came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by CD Arona's Ildefonso Delgado. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 27 played minutes CD Arona got a freekick which was hit by Enetz Feal. After having played for 28 minutes, Gerardo Pedrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez De Benaudalla SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Pedrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Heriberto Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Arona's supporters rose to their feet, but Heriberto Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Mas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes, Pascal Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez De Benaudalla SAD and the CD Arona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Velez De Benaudalla SAD got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Delgado. After 39 played minutes Velez De Benaudalla SAD got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pedrosa. Dante Mas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heriberto Checa went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dante Mas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Delgado went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Pedrosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gerardo Pedrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabián Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CD Arona defense, Gerardo Pedrosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabián Medina. The CD Arona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabián Medina should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, CD Arona's Enetz Feal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Mas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gerardo Pedrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, CD Arona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotero Martínez to maneuver through the defense. Enetz Feal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Cirino Aballe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabián Medina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CD Arona's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
