After 4 played minutes Machena got a freekick which was hit by Blasco Titos. After a defensive mix-up in Machena's zone, Aratz Baltanas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Dellasierra came out of the goal and Aratz Baltanas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gamus Fresnos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Favila Marin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s goalie and right to Gamus Fresnos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gamus Fresnos sped through Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Favila Marin. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Madariaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boni Dellasierra was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Boni Dellasierra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Toño Casta hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin got control of the ball when Blasco Titos tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Madariaga was the one to do the kick off. Boni Dellasierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Evaristo Madariaga struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Boni Dellasierra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancla Dosanpor F.C.. If Evaristo Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Machena's Gamus Fresnos in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Toño Casta got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Blasco Titos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Machena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blasco Titos couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gamus Fresnos came free, but Favila Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aratz Baltanas scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boni Dellasierra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Gamus Fresnos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Beltza Unzueta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Ancla Dosanpor F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Machena:s goal. Machena's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
