Barrado's Julio Ledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrado from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the match, Barrado's goal looked a bit too open when Lonzo Valcarcel came free, but Julio Ledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romano Sancho's late challenge caught a Barrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romano Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. Romano Sancho hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Romano Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lonzo Valcarcel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Ledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Arnaitz Sampil struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fidencio Castaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrado. Julio Ledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonzo Valcarcel in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrado's goalkeeper Julio Ledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eneas Cardeñosa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Vicálvaro AFC's Damaso Buenafuente broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romano Sancho got free with Julio Ledo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Barrado's Julio Ledo got control of the ball when Romano Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Lonzo Valcarcel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lonzo Valcarcel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lonzo Valcarcel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Sancho in the 58th minute of play forced Barrado's goalkeeper Julio Ledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vicálvaro AFC's Romano Sancho in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrado's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Sancho in the 60th minute of play forced Barrado's goalkeeper Julio Ledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lonzo Valcarcel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Julio Ledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Lonzo Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicálvaro AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lonzo Valcarcel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Ledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrado's goalkeeper Julio Ledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Lonzo Valcarcel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Ledo. Barrado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lonzo Valcarcel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 76th match minute, Vicálvaro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. When Raymond Alavedra fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vicálvaro AFC's protests and gave Raymond Alavedra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barrado booed when Vicálvaro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Alavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Vicálvaro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Marcos. Barrado's Gregory Castellano got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Ledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lonzo Valcarcel in the 94th minute of the match. If Lonzo Valcarcel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrado's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
