Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) In the 4th minute Segundo Viqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafá Saboya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Segundo Viqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafá Saboya was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dolfos Guijarro was slow to take the kick. During this time Candelaria CD's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Candelaria CD's Segundo Viqueira to fire away a dangerous shot which Mustafá Saboya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Candelaria CD's Segundo Viqueira in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 played minutes U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs got a freekick which was hit by Bernabé Vega. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Viqueira in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafá Saboya saved U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs from getting behind. Mustafá Saboya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Alonso in the 32nd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Segundo Viqueira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's Mustafá Saboya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's zone, Segundo Viqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafá Saboya came out of the goal and Segundo Viqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uxio Ricoy during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Uxio Ricoy hit a great ball. Mustafá Saboya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Viqueira's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Lisandro Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Viqueira in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafá Saboya saved U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs from getting behind. After the first half Candelaria CD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bernabé Vega made the kick off in the second half. Uxio Ricoy took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Curcio Elias. Curcio Elias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. Sant Adrià de Besòs's goalkeeper Mustafá Saboya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo Viqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candelaria CD made a substitution. Onofre Morales replaced Hortêncio Passos. Candelaria CD's Telmo Calatayud was substituted for Pelayo Aznar. Segundo Viqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Segundo Viqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Telmo Calatayud fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mustafá Saboya, passed just outside the right post. Atauri Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Curcio Elias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabé Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gelacio Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafá Saboya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atauri Portillo in the 95th minute of play. Candelaria CD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
