Putuco Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacho March was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Juan Zapatero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putuco Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Zapatero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aritz Amorebieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brais Griego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Alcalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Putuco Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gení Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. Putuco Team's Brais Griego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Alcalde in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Ribas during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valls United booed when Putuco Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Ribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Xosepe Alonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putuco Team and the Valls United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Putuco Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Alonso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Valls United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leocadio Solera hit a great ball. Brais Griego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Alcalde in the 38th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Putuco Team got a freekick which was hit by Xosepe Alonso. Nacho Alcalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brais Griego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nacho Alcalde to strike the kick off in the second half. Brais Griego made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Nacho March sent off a good shot on target. Nacho March's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brais Griego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Brais Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Alcalde in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Putuco Team's Xosepe Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aritz Amorebieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Putuco Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Zapatero to maneuver through the defense. Brais Griego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Alcalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Putuco Team's Santiago Ribas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brais Griego made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nacho March sent off a good shot on target. The Putuco Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Valls United's performance. The match ended with a win for Valls United.
