After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Damian Novo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Rubio's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Novo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brais Griego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gení Aguilar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Brais Griego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Hernandez in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Alonso in the 11th minute of play forced Velez Rubio's goalkeeper Pedro Galdamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Zapatero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paco Cameno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Velez Rubio got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Hernandez. Pedro Galdamez came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Putuco Team's Juan Zapatero. But to his dismay, Juan Zapatero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Juan Zapatero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brais Griego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Ramis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brais Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Ramis in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Pedro Galdamez managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Putuco Team's Juan Zapatero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Putuco Team's Brais Griego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Novo in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Velez Rubio booed when Putuco Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xosepe Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brais Griego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Hernandez in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Moreira in the 41st minute of play forced Putuco Team's goalkeeper Brais Griego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rafael Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brais Griego was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Putuco Team's Brais Griego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Ramis in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Xosepe Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Novo to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Novo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brais Griego having to interfere. Brais Griego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Hernandez in the 54th minute. Brais Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Novo in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute Damian Novo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brais Griego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paco Cameno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brais Griego made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Rafael Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Putuco Team getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Paco Cameno hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Xosepe Alonso sped through Velez Rubio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Galdamez.
