Spectators: 5205 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 5) Luis Barba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Valyria FC's Ovidio Estruch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Barba in the 3rd minute of play. Ovidio Estruch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Barba went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Luis Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agusti Mas's late challenge caught a Meraxes Gigas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agusti Mas helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Valyria FC got a freekick which was hit by Agusti Mas. Luis Barba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Estruch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaquiel Campos in the 21st minute of play forced Valyria FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Estruch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Estruch having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Meraxes Gigas's goalkeeper Ignacy Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by García Prieto. Yoel Encina kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ignacy Podolski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benigno Vazquez. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Cristo Sánchez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ignacy Podolski to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Meraxes Gigas booed when Valyria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meraxes Gigas's Feliu Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Meraxes Gigas's Luis Barba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Estruch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ovidio Estruch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacy Podolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from García Prieto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sancho Moya to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cristo Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Meraxes Gigas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luis Barba hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Iosu Candamil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacy Podolski skillfully saved the ball. Ignacy Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from García Prieto in the 58th minute of play. Ovidio Estruch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Barba in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Valyria FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Estruch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Barba. A collision led to Meraxes Gigas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Herminio Galdamez hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Barba got free with Ovidio Estruch in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Estruch having to interfere. Luis Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ovidio Estruch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Barba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yoel Encina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meraxes Gigas's Nacho Ponte was substituted for Zaquiel Campos. Ovidio Estruch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Barba's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Luis Barba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ovidio Estruch firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yoel Encina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Barba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ovidio Estruch made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Antxo Bravo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Valyria FC's Ovidio Estruch. Ovidio Estruch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Barba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Ovidio Estruch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Meraxes Gigas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valyria FC throughout the match.
