Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, FC Gualtrapas's Dalmau Lagunas got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gaizka Litago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Valdivia in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes, Colas Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elkano and the FC Gualtrapas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Elkano got a freekick which was hit by Colas Leon. In the 16th minute Guido Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeal Bajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Gualtrapas booed when Elkano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Gonzalvez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Elkano's Benito Gonzalvez got a free kick in the 25th minute. Guido Dominguez's late challenge caught a Elkano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Gualtrapas getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guido Dominguez hit a great ball. Toli Olles short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Gaizka Litago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gaizka Litago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toli Olle in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Toli Olle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elkano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Ander Griful notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Gualtrapas's Gaizka Litago. Gaizka Litago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lalo Mata struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cordeal Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gualtrapas. FC Gualtrapas's Gaizka Litago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Valdivia in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to FC Gualtrapas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Guido Dominguez hit a great ball. Gaizka Litago was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agapito Villanueva. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lalo Mata to make the kick off. Toli Olle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lalo Mata came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Gualtrapas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lalo Mata couldn't finish the play. Guido Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Mata in the 66th minute of play forced Elkano's goalkeeper Cordeal Bajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaizka Litago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ander Griful, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, FC Gualtrapas's goal looked a bit too open when Orti Olmos came free, but Gaizka Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Guido Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Gualtrapas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Dominguez couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Gualtrapas defense, Toli Olle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaizka Litago. The FC Gualtrapas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaizka Litago should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, FC Gualtrapas's Lalo Mata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, FC Gualtrapas's goal looked a bit too open when Toli Olle came free, but Gaizka Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guido Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Toli Olle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizka Litago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FC Gualtrapas's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Valdivia came free, but Gaizka Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Elkano were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Gualtrapas for much of the match.
