Tino Perpiñán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Revuelta having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tino Perpiñán put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ildefonso Revuelta. If Sigfrido Talavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tino Perpiñán managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albacete Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tino Perpiñán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Revuelta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigfrido Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Revuelta having to interfere. Sigfrido Talavera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Revuelta having to make a save. If Tino Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Zarbonin Bartumeu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Revuelta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After the first half Albacete Fútbol Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Albacete Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dubardo Carballeira came free, but Alfonso Mudarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Shichibukai's goal looked a bit too open when Tino Perpiñán came free, but Ildefonso Revuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigfrido Talavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ildefonso Revuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Revuelta made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tino Perpiñán sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Revuelta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarbonin Bartumeu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Albacete Fútbol Club's Alfonso Mudarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montay Morientes in the 59th minute of play. Alfonso Mudarra came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Shichibukai's Joaquin Amorebieta. But to his dismay, Joaquin Amorebieta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Shichibukai's Ildefonso Revuelta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Shichibukai from getting a goal against them. Sigfrido Talaveras short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Ildefonso Revuelta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zarbonin Bartumeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Revuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarbonin Bartumeu in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Shichibukai's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zarbonin Bartumeu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Talavera got free with Ildefonso Revuelta in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Shichibukai's zone, Zarbonin Bartumeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Revuelta came out of the goal and Zarbonin Bartumeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albacete Fútbol Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
