The supporters of Albacete Fútbol Club booed when Mesillas CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berdaitz Olmedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Mudarra made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Valentín Velazquez sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Furman Quintas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Mudarra. Furman Quintas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Mesillas CF's Cesareo Llinares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Mudarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furman Quintas in the 21st minute of play forced Albacete Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Alfonso Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Zarbonin Bartumeu made a precise shot to the right of Bero Rallo. Mesillas CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cesareo Llinares struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alfonso Mudarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesillas CF. Albacete Fútbol Club's Alfonso Mudarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berdaitz Olmedo in the 27th minute of play. Bero Rallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tino Perpiñán's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Berdaitz Olmedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Mudarra. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Talavera in the 33rd minute of play forced Mesillas CF's goalkeeper Bero Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zarbonin Bartumeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Mudarra made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Valentín Velazquez sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd play minute Furman Quintas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfonso Mudarra. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 54th minute Cesareo Llinares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Mudarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Furman Quintas in the 55th minute of the match. Bero Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarbonin Bartumeu in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Sigfrido Talavera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bero Rallo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfonso Mudarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berdaitz Olmedo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Alfonso Mudarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesareo Llinares in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Albacete Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dante Calatayud hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Berdaitz Olmedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Mesillas CF's Felipillo Sánchez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felipillo Sánchez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mesillas CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felipillo Sánchez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Mesillas CF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Felipillo Sánchez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mesillas CF's zone, Fermín Carrasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bero Rallo came out of the goal and Fermín Carrasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes of play, Mesillas CF's Furman Quintas made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Mudarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zarbonin Bartumeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bero Rallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mesillas CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
