Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 63) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nerio Dean started the match with the kick off. Paco Serenas short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Ofelio Merino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, New Orleans's Romano Morales got a free kick in the 9th minute. A hard shot by Bernat Moya from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Ofelio Merino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Niva Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ofelio Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paco Serena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Paco Serena made a precise shot to the right of Ofelio Merino. New Orleans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nevada Zapico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ofelio Merino. New Orleans's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21st play minutes Paco Serena shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Ofelio Merino and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 30th minute of the match Chico Alcantara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramone Marquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paco Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ofelio Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niva Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Merino having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Serena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Niva Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.T. Torre's supporters rose to their feet, but Niva Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ofelio Merino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to F.T. Torre getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Estebano Rienda hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Costante Castellano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramone Marquez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. F.T. Torre's Estebano Rienda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Romano Morales in the 79 minute of the game. New Orleans's Ofelio Merino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Serena in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paco Serena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ofelio Merino was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Ramone Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costante Castellano in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, F.T. Torre's goalkeeper Ramone Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costante Castellano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paco Serena in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ofelio Merino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.T. Torre had played much better football throughout.
