The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaskon Verdeja during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes F.C.Exilon got a freekick which was hit by Gaskon Verdeja. If Gaskon Verdeja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Daniel Lillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edur Arribas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Turi Guasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edur Arribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Armando Peña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Terron AFC's Almarín Japón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 23 minutes of play, El Terron AFC's Turi Guasch made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edur Arribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to F.C.Exilon getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Belmiro Roig hit a great ball. Almarín Japón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaskon Verdeja went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. F.C.Exilon's Armando Peña suffered a sore thigh after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Fabián Martin fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Terron AFC's protests and gave Fabián Martin a yellow card for diving instead. 44 minutes into the match, F.C.Exilon's goal looked a bit too open when Turi Guasch came free, but Edur Arribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half El Terron AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaskon Verdeja to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, El Terron AFC's Turi Guasch made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edur Arribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Lillo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Edur Arribas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Terron AFC. Daniel Lillo got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edur Arribas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Turi Guasch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Edur Arribas made a huge save. F.C.Exilon's Edur Arribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Lillo in the 68th minute of play. The El Terron AFC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when El Terron AFC's Turi Guasch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clodoveo Moya had several of the F.C.Exilon's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Edur Arribas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Turi Guasch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Terron AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
