Spectators: 7200 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 5) Mancio Alfaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Loren Macho made a huge save. Oxel Urbieta hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Stoke Az got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Helguera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Lagunas in the 12th minute of play forced Stoke Az's goalkeeper Loren Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loren Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lagunas in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Stoke Az got a freekick which was hit by Oxel Urbieta. The long shot by Humberto Candamil in the 20th minute really tested Loren Macho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Gilesindo Bermejo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maka's protests and gave Gilesindo Bermejo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute Daniel Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Macho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 28th minute of the match Gilesindo Bermejo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilesindo Bermejo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 29th minute, Gilesindo Bermejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Tito Mora made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Maka's Nando Saavedra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Saavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Barral in the 36th minute of play. Tito Mora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nando Saavedra having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Maka's Daniel Lagunas got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mancio Alfaro made a kick off. Nando Saavedra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tito Mora in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Maka's Nando Saavedra got control of the ball when Tito Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Saavedra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maka's Nando Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Barral in the 83rd minute of play. Nando Saavedra stood somewhat misplaced when Tito Mora came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 84 minute. With his leg Nando Saavedra managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Stoke Az's Tito Mora fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stoke Az's Loren Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufo Azofra in the 92nd minute of play. Mancio Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maka booed when Stoke Az was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oxel Urbieta didn't get a good kick on the ball.
