Encinares FC's Rodolfo Escurza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Encinares FC from getting a goal against them. Taio Benedicto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Escurza having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Fe Villar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pancho Carrasco scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ponce Ledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th match minute, Guardia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yosua Esperta to maneuver through the defense. Taio Benedicto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rodolfo Escurza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Guardia's Xurde Buenafuente got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodolfo Escurza. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Durango during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilberto Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sergio Patiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Escurza having to interfere. With a little luck, Encinares FC's Rodolfo Escurza got control of the ball when Taio Benedicto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Taio Benedicto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Durango stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Escurza came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guardia's Edorta Cañadas. But to his dismay, Edorta Cañadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Taio Benedicto took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Escurza. Rodolfo Escurza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Yosua Esperta hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Edorta Cañadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taio Benedicto in the 67th minute of play forced Encinares FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Escurza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fe Villar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes, Edorta Cañadas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guardia and the Encinares FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edorta Cañadas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Encinares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Taio Benedicto came free, but Rodolfo Escurza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Escurza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taio Benedicto in the 74th minute of play. After some careless play in the Encinares FC defense, Edorta Cañadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Escurza. The Encinares FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Escurza should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Guardia's Ponce Ledo got control of the ball when Gilberto Durango tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ponce Ledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekhi Barrientos in the 84th minute. Guardia's Taio Benedicto got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sergio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Patiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Escurza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Escurza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taio Benedicto in the 88th minute of play. Taio Benedicto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rodolfo Escurza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guardia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
