Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julen Helguera in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joan Roman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, Taialà's goal looked a bit too open when Zabal Vuelta came free, but Ekaitz Hevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Morales to make the kick off. Ganix Cañadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joan Roman having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jaime Morales took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Joan Roman to make any attempt to save it. Rubén Borrás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ekaitz Hevia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Ullivarri Cuartango UD's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Morales came free, but Joan Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jaime Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joan Roman was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Zabal Vuelta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Rubén Borrás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ullivarri Cuartango UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubén Borrás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ekaitz Hevia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nayely Ramis during the 90th minute.
