CentolloDeLaRia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético de Madrid the free kick. After 7 played minutes CentolloDeLaRia got a freekick which was hit by Cebrián Echeto. CentolloDeLaRia's Alexandro Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Yeste in the 11th minute of play. Dalmai Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmai Barba might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandro Figueres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmai Barba ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Yeste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alexandro Figueres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porfirio Galdamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Cabanela in the 23rd minute of the match. Stelian Tincu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernan Cabanela fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CentolloDeLaRia's protests and gave Fernan Cabanela a yellow card for diving instead. Fernan Cabanela hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Benedicto santillana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CentolloDeLaRia booed when Club Atlético de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaquiel Garay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Cabanela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porfirio Galdamez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Fernan Cabanela might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Porfirio Galdamez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Cabanela ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto santillana to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmai Barba in the 56th minute of play forced CentolloDeLaRia's goalkeeper Alexandro Figueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Club Atlético de Madrid's Dalmai Barba in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CentolloDeLaRia's goalie prevented a goal. If Alvaro Yeste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmai Barba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Figueres having to interfere. A collision led to CentolloDeLaRia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Crispo Ibanez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Madrid's Zaquiel Garay got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind CentolloDeLaRia's goalkeeper Alexandro Figueres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chants of CentolloDeLaRia echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Club Atlético de Madrid had held the ball for most of the match.
