After having played for 7 minutes, Wincenty Pyrtek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxide AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Pyrtek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Raya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Luis-Antonio Olano made a huge save. Alvar Contratas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blai Quesada. Caxide AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Boris Dietzsch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caxide AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Helguera in the 21st minute of play forced Caxide AD's goalkeeper Blai Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, RCD Mallorca's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Olano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Raya. A collision led to RCD Mallorca getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Humberto Carrasco hit a great ball. Toribio Olmos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Luis-Antonio Olano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Luis-Antonio Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Humberto Carrasco hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Luis-Antonio Olano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Azofra in the 58th minute of the match. Caxide AD's Blai Quesada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Caxide AD from getting a goal against them. Romano Baños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Antonio Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Dietzsch in the 67th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Caxide AD's Boris Dietzsch made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Olano was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Raya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis-Antonio Olano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Raya in the 84th minute of play forced RCD Mallorca's goalkeeper Luis-Antonio Olano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-0 when John Raya sped through RCD Mallorca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luis-Antonio Olano. After 94 played minutes Caxide AD got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Calderon. Blai Quesada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Baños in the 95th minute of the match.
