The audience thought a goal was coming when Ibar Torrente got free with Anton Bartumeu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Román Menendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahoma Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Batallans FC booed when Córdoba Atlético was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txema Albizua didn't get a good kick on the ball.
