Baltazar Marrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mascat's Eneko Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Marrero in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Samuel Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wells Union FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Naranjo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eneko Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrea Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Gene came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mascat's Andrea Sánchez. But to his dismay, Andrea Sánchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Toro Valerón kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Samuel Naranjo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wells Union FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Abelardo Reina charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Reina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abelardo Reina kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Wells Union FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Carballeira to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Sánchez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 43rd playminute. If Pancracio Bastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Samuel Naranjo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eneko Gasteiz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Pancracio Bastida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mascat's supporters rose to their feet, but Pancracio Bastida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Gene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Samuel Naranjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Blanco charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Blanco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mascat booed when Wells Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pancracio Bastida struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Javier Gene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mascat. If Pancracio Bastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Gene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancracio Bastida in the 68th minute of play. Mascat's Andrea Sánchez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pancracio Bastida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Gene having to interfere. When Andrea Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mascat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Sánchez couldn't finish the play. Javier Gene stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea Sánchez's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mascat's zone, Samuel Naranjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eneko Gasteiz came out of the goal and Samuel Naranjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pancracio Bastida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eneko Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Naranjo in the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Playo Cabrera during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Playo Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mascat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wells Union FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
