Spectators: 5675 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1150, VIP seats: 25) 3 minutes into the match, Ponce Zubiaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Soler. Milton Friedman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ponce Zubiaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eneas Clos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Soler having to interfere. Iban Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crispo Mayol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Tuñon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Cabanela to maneuver through the defense. Crispo Mayol took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iban Casillas. Iban Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Crispo Mayol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iban Casillas. Tuñon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Crispo Mayol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Milton Friedman's Crispo Mayol got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Cabanela was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Milton Friedman booed when Tuñon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Cabanela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fliz Pena, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ponce Zubiaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Soler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ponce Zubiaga ran back to his position shaking his head. The Tuñon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milton Friedman were winning 1-2.

The audience was convinced that Crispo Mayol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iban Casillas was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milton Friedman's goalkeeper Braulio Soler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Milton Friedman getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Serapio Balboa hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Ponce Zubiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuñon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ponce Zubiaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Ortiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iban Casillas. Baraquiel Ortiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 87 played minutes Tuñon got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Rajoi. A hard shot by Fliz Pena from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Iban Casillas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Crispo Mayol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuñon's Iban Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispo Mayol in the 94th minute of play. Ponce Zubiaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Milton Friedman supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milton Friedman would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
