Though ot was a great shot Puente De Jontoya AFC's keeper Anxo Avila was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Fiz Buenafuente struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jiří Veselka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puente De Jontoya AFC. Ludvik Smeby kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bideko defense, Fiz Buenafuente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiří Veselka. The Bideko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiří Veselka should have stopped the shot. Ludvik Smeby's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Anxo Avila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cebo Sierra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Puente De Jontoya AFC's Wilfredo Bouzas got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Bideko's Ludvik Smeby in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute of the match Urtungo De Paula sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jiří Veselka skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Kaiet Valdivia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bideko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaiet Valdivia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bideko's zone, Ilixo Elguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jiří Veselka came out of the goal and Ilixo Elguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Fiz Buenafuente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jiří Veselka was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Bideko's goal looked a bit too open when Mitxel Cifuentes came free, but Jiří Veselka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anxo Avila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludvik Smeby in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Kaiet Valdivia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anxo Avila. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludvik Smeby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bideko's Jiří Veselka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bideko from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Puente De Jontoya AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Urtungo De Paula hit a great ball. Anxo Avila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaiet Valdivia in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Puente De Jontoya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fran Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Bideko's Kaiet Valdivia got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cebo Sierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asdrubal Benito hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Fiz Buenafuente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Ilixo Elguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Solo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jiří Veselka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiz Buenafuente in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Cebo Sierra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anxo Avila. Puente De Jontoya AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cebo Sierra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ludvik Smeby hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The long shot by Isauro Ramos in the 90th minute really tested Jiří Veselka's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 91 played minutes Puente De Jontoya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Urtungo De Paula. Kaiet Valdivia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anxo Avila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jiří Veselka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiz Buenafuente in the 96th minute. Bideko were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
