After some careless play in the Black Cat C.F. defense, Kaiet Valdivia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chayo Machado. The Black Cat C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chayo Machado should have stopped the shot. Kaiet Valdivia might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chayo Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaiet Valdivia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 9 played minutes Black Cat C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Casero. In the 12th minute Bideko were awarded a corner. Larra Cortes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bideko's Larra Cortes to fire away a dangerous shot which Chayo Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Albano Santiago hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Ludvik Smeby made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Black Cat C.F.'s Chayo Machado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Ludvik Smeby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bideko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvik Smeby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Black Cat C.F.'s zone, Ludvik Smeby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chayo Machado came out of the goal and Ludvik Smeby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Ludvik Smeby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bideko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvik Smeby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ludvik Smeby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chayo Machado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Chayo Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egoi Abad went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giro Macías stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chayo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvik Smeby, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 76 played minutes, Bideko's Larra Cortes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chayo Machado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bideko reached it. If Cebo Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Larra Cortes during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Bideko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larra Cortes to maneuver through the defense. Unax Abascal struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jiří Veselka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Cat C.F.. The supporters of Bideko booed when Black Cat C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Bideko were the better team. Bideko's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
