Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Velez FC's goalkeeper Severo Rubio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Milio Ponte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Velez FC's Severo Rubio. Severo Rubio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hernán Acha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Milio Ponte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Severo Rubio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Everardo Cao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imanol Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Milio Ponte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Solera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Cao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Milio Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Rubio having to interfere. NewSkill FC's Everardo Cao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imanol Navarro in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Milio Ponte made a precise shot to the right of Severo Rubio. Velez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 44th match minute, Velez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imanol Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Fonticoba charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Fonticoba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes NewSkill FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Fonticoba. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

NewSkill FC's Milio Ponte got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Velez FC's Severo Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milio Ponte in the 58th minute of play. Everardo Cao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Acha in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, NewSkill FC's Milio Ponte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severo Rubio. Severo Rubio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. NewSkill FC's Isaio Mudarra was substituted for Saturnino Fonticoba. Edgardo Solera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Cao having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milio Ponte in the 73rd minute of play forced Velez FC's goalkeeper Severo Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Cao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imanol Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Solera took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Cao. Everardo Cao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Milio Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Severo Rubio made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of NewSkill FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Velez FC side.
