After recieving a nice pass, Real Club Fuengirola's Alejandro Solano tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Lauro Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Guerrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Cabanela having to make a save. Victor Cabanela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Lauro Sauca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Cabanela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Club Fuengirola's Olo Barroso got a free kick in the 20th minute. Modesto Mudarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Barro in the 21st minute of the match. Gaston Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahiano Santalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victor Cabanela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Real Club Fuengirola got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Flores. Gaston Guerrero scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Cabanela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Barro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Mudarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Cabanela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Guerrero in the 45th minute of the match.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Sauca in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Mudarra saved Real Club Fuengirola from getting behind. Lazaro Candamil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Modesto Mudarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Mudarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Barro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Pablo Barro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Mudarra having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Lauro Sauca put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Modesto Mudarra. The supporters of Morata booed when Real Club Fuengirola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Pablo Barro made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Mudarra. Real Club Fuengirola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
