Evaristo Sánchez charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Sánchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Ariando Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 20th minute, Evaristo Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Frasco Varela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Mudarra skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th minute Ariando Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Flores during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrique Flores hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Club Fuengirola's goalkeeper Modesto Mudarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modesto Mudarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariando Machado in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Club Fuengirola's Enrique Flores got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ariando Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Mudarra having to make a save. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Club Fuengirola's goalkeeper Modesto Mudarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariando Machado was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Tome Cainzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Club Fuengirola's Modesto Mudarra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Fuengirola from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Ariando Machado notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Real Club Fuengirola's Modesto Mudarra. Modesto Mudarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Bahiano Santalla came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Real Club Fuengirola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahiano Santalla couldn't finish the play. If Tome Cainzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Canosa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Club Fuengirola's Gaston Guerrero. But to his dismay, Gaston Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Ariando Machado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Modesto Mudarra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tome Cainzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Mudarra having to interfere. The supporters of Rouhl FK booed when Real Club Fuengirola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tome Cainzos in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Mudarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
