With a little luck, Dega Bahi F.C's Txomin Novo got control of the ball when Alvar Zubizarreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Yader Camacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dega Bahi F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AGUADULCE FC the free kick. A collision led to Dega Bahi F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. With an all-out effort, AGUADULCE FC's Txomin Novo threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gorosti Dellasierra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Dega Bahi F.C booed when AGUADULCE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorosti Dellasierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Demesio Tobia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Dega Bahi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demesio Tobia couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Rojas was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demesio Tobia to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alvar Zubizarreta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dega Bahi F.C's Txomin Novo. Txomin Novo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AGUADULCE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvar Zubizarreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demesio Tobia took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaden Sabina. Vaden Sabina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
