In the 15th minute Dario Sevilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaden Sabina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastián Parra fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AGUADULCE FC's protests and gave Sebastián Parra a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes AGUADULCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Parra. With a little luck, AGUADULCE FC's Vaden Sabina got control of the ball when Matthew Elguero tried to sneak it across the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vaden Sabina. Dani Jimenez took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaden Sabina. Vaden Sabina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to AGUADULCE FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alvar Zubizarreta hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Zubizarreta to strike the kick off in the second half. Dani Jimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaden Sabina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dani Jimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to AGUADULCE FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eloy De Pablo hit a great ball. AGUADULCE FC's Vaden Sabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neron Quevedo in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Teodosio Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AGUADULCE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Rojas during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AGUADULCE FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Teodosio Rojas hit a great ball. Antero Arenas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaden Sabina having to make a save. If Antero Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Manzano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Dario Sevilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaden Sabina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AGUADULCE FC's zone, Dario Sevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaden Sabina came out of the goal and Dario Sevilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neron Quevedo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
