After having played for 14 minutes, Argoitz Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argoitz Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lain Pujol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlitos Valdés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lluciano Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llorenc Zapatero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Menendez in the 25th minute of play. Llorenc Zapatero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from García Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Florin Vidal hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when García Rojas came free, but Llorenc Zapatero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Menendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Zapatero having to interfere. Lluciano Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Argoitz Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lluciano Bermejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lain Pujol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlitos Valdés having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Llorenc Zapatero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Menendez. A collision led to Palma Del Rio getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Adelio Hidalgo hit a great ball. Boca Juniors's Arias Torres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palma Del Rio. Lain Pujol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Behe Buendia got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Txema Rivera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llorenc Zapatero came out of the goal and Txema Rivera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pepe Menendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Palma Del Rio getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Isidor Ponce hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Lluciano Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llorenc Zapatero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lluciano Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Zapatero having to interfere. Palma Del Rio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
