Mergildo Sancho made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Belisario Acarreta sent off a good shot on target. Juan Azofra's late challenge caught a TGN Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Azofra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC PURELATORS's Juan Azofra got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tato Mayol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quinto Zabalo. FC PURELATORS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belisario Acarreta got free with Mergildo Sancho in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC PURELATORS's Quinto Zabalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Segura in the 19th minute of play. Belisario Acarreta took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When FC PURELATORS's Mikel Abasalo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TGN Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Mergildo Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikel Abasalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Belisario Acarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Belisario Acarreta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mergildo Sancho. The goal made the score 3-0. Mergildo Sancho came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC PURELATORS's Belisario Acarreta. But to his dismay, Belisario Acarreta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 42 minutes into the game, Mikel Abasalo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mergildo Sancho. Mikel Abasalo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 54thth minute of the game Mikel Abasalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mergildo Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belisario Acarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Fidencio Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in TGN Academy's zone, Belisario Acarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mergildo Sancho came out of the goal and Belisario Acarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mergildo Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belisario Acarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belisario Acarreta in the 71st minute of play forced TGN Academy's goalkeeper Mergildo Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mergildo Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belisario Acarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC PURELATORS's Lastur Astudillo suffered a fractured collar bone after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 82 minutes, Colas Serena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TGN Academy and the FC PURELATORS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Colas Serena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benvido Mora took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 93rd match minute, TGN Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Nunez to maneuver through the defense. Mergildo Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikel Abasalo in the 94th minute of the match. Belisario Acarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC PURELATORS fully deserved thier win.
