After 3 minutes of play, Subijana's Johannes Tollenaar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Canor Domenech was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 15 minutes, Isaac Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PPts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moncho Mata got free with Dolf Eisenga in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Canor Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Tollenaar in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PPts FC's Edmundo Rojas got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Gonza Urbieta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Canor Domenech was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Moncho Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dolf Eisenga. Subijana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moncho Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The PPts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Canor Domenech should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Rojas lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dolf Eisenga was a little too slow when Moncho Mata got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Moncho Mata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dolf Eisenga. That made the score 4-2 in the 41 minute of play. With a little luck, Subijana's Dolf Eisenga got control of the ball when Moncho Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macias Lagunas in the 46th minute of play forced PPts FC's goalkeeper Canor Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The wind increased when Gonza Urbieta made the kick off in the second half. Rafa Bouzas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Bouzas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Rodriguez in the 56th minute of play forced Subijana's goalkeeper Dolf Eisenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Etxave Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subijana's supporters rose to their feet, but Etxave Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Canor Domenech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PPts FC's Canor Domenech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save PPts FC from getting a goal against them. Canor Domenech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, PPts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Tollenaar came free, but Canor Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes PPts FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiano Olano. A collision led to Subijana getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rafa Bouzas hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, PPts FC's Aureliano Laredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dolf Eisenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PPts FC reached it. 81 minutes into the match, Gonza Urbieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Canor Domenech. PPts FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonza Urbieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-4. PPts FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Johannes Tollenaar scored to the left of an out of position Canor Domenech, making the score, 5-5. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Isaac Rodriguez put it in 6-5 from a short distance just to the right of Dolf Eisenga. Macias Lagunas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
