The audience was convinced that Neto Contreras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Dobale was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Aiert Tobia hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes, Heli Camino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CE Ciutat Negra and the Can Güell players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes CE Ciutat Negra got a freekick which was hit by Heli Camino. 12 minutes into the game, Melkor Mala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Can Güell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CE Ciutat Negra the free kick. Melkor Mala kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jesús Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Mondejar having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Neto Contreras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Can Güell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Natal Gene came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Can Güell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natal Gene couldn't finish the play. Natal Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Dobale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natal Gene in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neto Contreras in the 41st minute of play forced CE Ciutat Negra's goalkeeper Ariel Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play CE Ciutat Negra's Aiert Tobia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to CE Ciutat Negra getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aiert Tobia hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ariel Dobale had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Neto Contreras from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Dobale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natal Gene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ariel Dobale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natal Gene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natal Gene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesús Durango during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natal Gene came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ariel Dobale could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Can Güell's Natal Gene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Dobale. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermín Belalcaraz got free with Ariel Dobale in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Neto Contreras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Can Güell's supporters rose to their feet, but Neto Contreras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Dobale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Can Güell's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
