After some careless play in the Restabal CF defense, Bitxintxo Benítez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Cichewski. The Restabal CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Cichewski should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Tacito De Toro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RS Fuenlabrada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Damian Cichewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Beloki in the 21st minute of play. Damian Cichewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Beloki went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The wind increased when Eugenio Duarte made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Restabal CF's Belisario Beloki got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Damian Cichewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the final whistle sounded RS Fuenlabrada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Restabal CF.
