But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agapito Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Sabit Özdoruk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agapito Ramirez went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Agapito Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Özdoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Colonia Güell got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Campoamor. Leizarraga Feal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sabit Özdoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lonzo Feal during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Colonia Güell booed when Oran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lonzo Feal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Colonia Güell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rai Carmona to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Leizarraga Feal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Özdoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabit Özdoruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agapito Ramirez in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Colonia Güell's Rai Carmona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beltran Saura. Beltran Saura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rai Carmona got free with Beltran Saura in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the game, one of Colonia Güell:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Oran a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agapito Ramirez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colonia Güell's Sabit Özdoruk. 1-2. After the first half Oran were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Colonia Güell's Sabit Özdoruk got control of the ball when Leizarraga Feal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Pär Biörk put in a rough tackle. In the 63rd minute, Pär Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabit Özdoruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agapito Ramirez in the 68th minute of play. Leizarraga Feal took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabit Özdoruk. Sabit Özdoruk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Sabit Özdoruk was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sixto Villa. Sabit Özdoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leizarraga Feal's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute Agapito Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Özdoruk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oran's Virgilio Camacho in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colonia Güell's goalie prevented a goal.
