In the 14th match minute, Nastic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Losada to maneuver through the defense. When Abarrotz De Paula came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the XEREZ C.D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abarrotz De Paula couldn't finish the play. Abarrotz De Paula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Planes having to interfere. Rexino Baltanas charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rexino Baltanas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Nastic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rexino Baltanas to maneuver through the defense. Alcadio Escurza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bartolo Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Xarles Villanueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rexino Baltanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Iosu Nadal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rexino Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Mudarra in the 42nd minute of play forced XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper Iosu Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nastic's zone, Abarrotz De Paula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Planes came out of the goal and Abarrotz De Paula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rexino Baltanas made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Malvin Montiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XEREZ C.D and the Nastic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malvin Montiel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rexino Baltanas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosu Nadal was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bartolo Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcadio Escurza in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Abarrotz De Paula made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Planes. In the 79th match minute, Nastic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Sacristán to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, XEREZ C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Rexino Baltanas came free, but Iosu Nadal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nastic's Bartolo Planes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Nastic from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes, Nastic's Andrés Unzueta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosu Nadal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nastic reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aitor Font in the 95th minute of play forced XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper Iosu Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. XEREZ C.D walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
