Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) TAIGER's Eufemio Revuelta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonny Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Verges having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Alfonso Soto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TAIGER and the La Linea De La Concepcion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Alfonso Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Linea De La Concepcion's attentive Jonny Beckeman managed to snatch the ball when Franco Lastras made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of La Linea De La Concepcion booed when TAIGER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joselito Climent didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to La Linea De La Concepcion getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pankracy Rzegotka hit a great ball. Carmelo Verges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madeo Abrego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osoro Baeza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Verges having to make a save. After 22 played minutes La Linea De La Concepcion got a freekick which was hit by Osoro Baeza. Madeo Abrego hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Madeo Abrego kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A long shot from Eufemio Revuelta in the 37th minute of play was well struck, but Gaskon Incera made a really good save at the right post. In the 38th minute, Madeo Abrego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carmelo Verges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Madeo Abrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Verges having to interfere. TAIGER's Fermín Alonso has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 45th minute. Madeo Abrego charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Madeo Abrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Madeo Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osoro Baeza was the one to do the kick off. TAIGER's Eufemio Revuelta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Verges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Beckeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonny Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Osoro Baeza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes TAIGER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benito Iglesias who took care of the corner kick. Benito Iglesias made a great header on La Linea De La Concepcion's corner, it was just that TAIGER's Carmelo Verges managed to reach the ball for a save. Madeo Abrego received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carmelo Verges came out and tried to block the shot, but Madeo Abrego slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. Carmelo Verges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonny Beckeman in the 90th minute. Carmelo Verges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osoro Baeza in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TAIGER's zone, Madeo Abrego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Verges came out of the goal and Madeo Abrego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madeo Abrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
