Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tolino Esteban started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in RCD Lidbar's zone, Tolino Esteban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Macia came out of the goal and Tolino Esteban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Paris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Macia having to make a save. In the 6th match minute, RCD Lidbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, RCD Lidbar's goal looked a bit too open when Tolino Esteban came free, but Luis Macia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RCD Lidbar's Elisardo Lara got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, The Mata Tigers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arxel Jorquera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Mata Tigers's Xove Quesada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adulfo Castro in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolino Esteban in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Macia saved RCD Lidbar from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, RCD Lidbar's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Paris came free, but Luis Macia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Macia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias De la Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tolino Esteban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Macia having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Tolino Esteban put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Macia. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tolino Esteban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RCD Lidbar's Luis Macia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adulfo Castro in the 37th minute of play forced The Mata Tigers's goalkeeper Xove Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Macia came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by The Mata Tigers's Tolino Esteban. But to his dismay, Tolino Esteban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tolino Esteban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xove Quesada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adulfo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adulfo Castro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tolino Esteban dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luis Macia, 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Tolino Esteban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Radaban during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes The Mata Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Amado Radaban. Xove Quesada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Gimenez in the 67th minute of play. RCD Lidbar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Facundo Gimenez in the 68th minute. RCD Lidbar's Facundo Gimenez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xove Quesada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Angel Paris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Angel Paris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Macia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When The Mata Tigers's Tolino Esteban in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RCD Lidbar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute Javier Bodelon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, The Mata Tigers's Luis Macia threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tolino Esteban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adulfo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Xove Quesada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Florentino Cayuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes The Mata Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Cayuela. Adulfo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Bodelon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
