Miro Sainz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Macia. RCD Lidbar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adulfo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Angelo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Cienfuegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Alonso having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raúl Flores to strike the kick off in the second half. RCD Lidbar's Adulfo Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manolito Cacheres kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arxel Jorquera in the 58th managed to get into a good position. In the 90th minute, Drono FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pelayo Briso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. RCD Lidbar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
