When Ramond Cabada came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Zapata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramond Cabada couldn't finish the play. Checa Sauca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomualdo Bajo in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Zapata's Tomualdo Bajo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Checa Sauca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Mino Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Igualada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomualdo Bajo came free, but Checa Sauca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Tomualdo Bajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igualada AFC's Checa Sauca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Igualada AFC's Gerard Acedo got a free kick in the 38th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 40th minute when Ramond Cabada elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zapata's Pacorro Valdivia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Zapata from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Mino Puig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pacorro Valdivia was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Zurica in the 53rd minute of play forced Zapata's goalkeeper Pacorro Valdivia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Igualada AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gerard Acedo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zapata's zone, Mino Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacorro Valdivia came out of the goal and Mino Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leobardo Zurica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramond Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Mino Puig notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Zapata's Pacorro Valdivia. Pacorro Valdivia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pacorro Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leobardo Zurica in the 92nd minute of play. Tomualdo Bajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Zapata players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
