Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arbizu CF's Nesor Canosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, FC Hambruna's Mario Urruti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dei Morado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Lucas Vallejo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remigio Campomanes. The goal made the score 1-0. Arbizu CF's Dei Morado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Urruti in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Normando Montes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dei Morado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Urruti in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dei Morado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, FC Hambruna's goalkeeper Remigio Campomanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anxel Iglesias. A collision led to FC Hambruna getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Normando Montes hit a great ball. Remigio Campomanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carballido in the 23rd minute. FC Hambruna's Remigio Campomanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nesor Canosa in the 25th minute of play. Remigio Campomanes made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when José Carballido sent off a good shot on target. When Anxel Iglesias fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbizu CF's protests and gave Anxel Iglesias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arbizu CF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Anxel Iglesias hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Hambruna's Jerrald Ramis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Remigio Campomanes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when José Carballido sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Arbizu CF's Anxel Iglesias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Campomanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Normando Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dei Morado having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Arbizu CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anxel Iglesias to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Urruti was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Arbizu CF's Nesor Canosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Campomanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dei Morado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Josue Raya. After some careless play in the FC Hambruna defense, Lucas Vallejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Campomanes. The FC Hambruna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Campomanes should have stopped the shot. FC Hambruna's Remigio Campomanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carballido in the 66th minute of play. Remigio Campomanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anxel Iglesias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Lucas Vallejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Campomanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Remigio Campomanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nesor Canosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Nesor Canosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Campomanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Arbizu CF's Lucas Vallejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Campomanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of FC Hambruna booed when Arbizu CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Urbina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arbizu CF's zone, Mario Urruti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dei Morado came out of the goal and Mario Urruti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Mario Urruti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dei Morado, passed just outside the right post. Anxel Iglesias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Mario Urruti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dei Morado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
