Matia Bastida took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaizka Montaña. Gaizka Montaña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Cristian Sobrado fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sora FC's protests and gave Cristian Sobrado a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Sobrado hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgio Camacho got free with Fix Abascal in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaizka Montaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matia Bastida in the 22nd minute of play. Giorgio Camachos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Fix Abascal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Sora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Velasco came free, but Fix Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Antero Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sora FC's Fix Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Grumos Blancos's Antero Velasco in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sora FC's goalie prevented a goal. Matia Bastida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gaizka Montaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antolin Casillas, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Gaizka Montaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nono Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antero Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Grumos Blancos got a corner. Sora FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giorgio Camacho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grumos Blancos's Giorgio Camacho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fix Abascal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sora FC's Fix Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgio Camacho in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Sora FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nono Salgado hit a great ball. Antero Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fix Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sora FC booed when Grumos Blancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asteri Gene didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cristian Sobrado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sobrado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaizka Montaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sora FC booed when Grumos Blancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asteri Gene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grumos Blancos's Gaizka Montaña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Grumos Blancos from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Giorgio Camacho made a precise shot to the right of Fix Abascal. Sora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 83 minutes into the game, Sora FC's Matia Bastida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaizka Montaña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 91st match minute, Grumos Blancos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imanol Castan to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Sora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constancio Amorebieta came free, but Fix Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Rivera hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sora FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
