Zapata's Pacorro Valdivia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Zapata from getting a goal against them. Lucas Vallejo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Pacorro Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesor Canosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Tomualdo Bajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arbizu CF's Dei Morado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lauren Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Nesor Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carballido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pacorro Valdivia having to interfere. With a little luck, Zapata's Pacorro Valdivia got control of the ball when José Carballido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dei Morado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramond Cabada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When José Carballido came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Arbizu CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carballido couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 80 played minutes, Arbizu CF's Josu Huguet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pacorro Valdivia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arbizu CF reached it. José Carballido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nesor Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomualdo Bajo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Zapata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomualdo Bajo couldn't finish the play. The Zapata players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arbizu CF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
